Man, Ive been scouring how to make it look 3D like you did. I am able to do everything else except the part at the end that you skipped :( How did you skew it? Is there a way you can actually make them 3D objects instead and work in 3D space? Skewing can look really ugly if not done right.
It would depend on the size of the file in illustrator and the method which you paste it in. Photoshop is a raster graphics based program so if the logo in illustrator is small it will look pixelated in photoshop. Depending on the design try pasting it in as a shape/ smart object rather than pixels. And see if that helps
